Dan Is Buying
What a lovely big mirror, you can do so many things here! Linda says. Yeah, it is a nice room, replies Emma. Wusha, wusha, wusha, Linda chants with pursed lips. She wiggles her hips and dances by herself in the middle of the room. Linda holds her gaze at Emma through the mirror. She’s smiling generously. Emma smiles back politely. You can do anything you want with a mirror like that, Linda says. Yeah, so could we maybe take a look at the bathroom too? Emma replies. Wusha, wusha, wusha, Linda says again, still moving her hips and looking at Emma in the mirror. Dan, Emma shouts, how's the kitchen? It’s nice, he shouts back. What are you doing in there? Emma shouts again. Linda is rotating about a spot in the centre of the room making a quiet cha cha sound with the agency clipboard pressed against her side. Dan walks into the room and looks at Linda. Oh okay, he says with a light chuckle. I honestly don’t know what’s happening, Emma whispers. Dan, Linda exclaims, that mirror is a beauty. Linda undoes her top shirt button and loosens her tie. I’ve built up a heat from the wiggling, she says. Erm, I think we’d like to make an offer, Emma says curtly. Well maybe, Dan says, shouldn’t we talk about it first? Emma notices that Dan is still watching Linda. She continues to wiggle about the spot. Well you guys will have to find out if the mirror comes with it, Linda says. Would be such a shame to get the place and then the mirror wouldn’t come with it. Yeah that’s true, Dan replies. Emma looks at him. What on earth are you doing talking about that mirror, Emma shouts. Linda cranes her head to look directly at Emma, for the first time not via the mirror. Dan, Linda says, come cha cha with me. Emma looks back at Linda, appalled. Dan, holding a cheeky grin that says ‘I can’t help myself,’ moves to the middle of the room and begins gently twerking while watching himself in the mirror. Yeah, it’s an amazing mirror, he says. I know right, Linda replies. They both wiggle in the room as Emma begins to cry.
